I have never really used iWeb. I have never really liked the idea of managing static web pages, so I never got into it. The desktop blogging applications I'm looking for are the kind that plug-in to Wordpress so I don't have to use the web interface to write my posts.

I think I found the original two I was looking at. One is called Ecto and the other is called MarsEdit. Has anybody used on of these programs and can recommend one or the other?
